11.06.09 - random rambling

I don’t even know if my title makes sense. Haha. I’ve been away from my blog for so many months because I wasn’t feeling the need to blog at all and I’ve been busy with my offline life. My PR went down too. :( Help me gain it back, please?

Anyway, I’m majoring on Nursing and most of you guys know how hard it is to get in the Nursing Program. I recently applied for the nursing program to the school I’m currently attending last September ‘09. Yesterday, I got a letter from them saying that I met the criteria but sadly I wasn’t selected from the random lottery. I know that’s the way they do it - lottery. But it’s just annoying because I’m not one of those lucky people. Boohoo! I’m going to apply again on March though. Also, I’m going to apply to other schools. I just hope I get in soon because I plan to graduate before I turn 22. I’m so envious of my HS batchmates studying in the Philippines because they know when they’ll be done. Me? No. Not until I get in to the program. If I was there, I could’ve been on my 3rd year now and graduate on March 2011. So, I talked to my mom and suggested to send me back to the Philippines to study. I don’t really care where I graduate. I just want to get done. Haha. Seriously though. Sigh. This is stressing me out.

On a lighter note, I think I need to get my hair cut. It’s been more than six weeks and I’m just waiting some more time to get it cut. So excited! And belated happy birthday to my loveeeeee! Hihi. Mkay. There’s a lot to do right now so I’m going to go back on what I’m doing. Haha.

11.06.09 - unique collection

Most people have their own collection of something. May it be small or big. It may be expensive or not. Either way it’s make people happy. One very interesting one is collecting gold coins. They are expensive but they are really good investments and collections. They’re so shiny that’s why they are so attractive to our eyes. Most people who collect gold coins are professionals or ones who have a lot of money.

Now, you’re probably wondering where you can buy gold coin right? Well, I’ve been looking around the web and I stumbled upon this website where you can also buy gold bullion for a very reasonable price too. It’s just so nice that they have so many options. It’s like going to a one stop shop. If I were you, I would probably buy bullion because they are really nice to collect. They have rare designs and such a steal!

Let your fingers work and purchase gold bullion now! I know I would.

09.25.09 - sigh

I’m happy but there’s something wrong. It’s just so incomplete. Something is missing in my life. Every morning I wake up not being able to put GOOD with morning cos it’s really not. I wish for it all the time. I can’t feel contentment. Am i asking for too much? :( God, please let/make it happen. Sighhhh…

08.10.09 - SF City

I went to San Francisco last week with my family. We were booked for 6 days but only stayed there for 5 because my brother got sick. Oh well. Let me give you guys a summary. Haha. First, we went to the Great Mall in Milpitas to do some shopping, went to Santa Rosa and Petaluma then to Vallejo for a dinner party, toured around the Pier (Aquarium of the Bay, Double Decker Bus, Blue & Gold Fleet Cruise), went to visit some family friends at South San Fo, and did some shopping at Gilroy.

And now I’m sick. Oh my! I’ve been sick for 5 days now. I’m kind of feeling better since the last two days but I still don’t feel well. Fever. Cough. Cold. Aaack. I think it’s because Bakersfield has a really hot weather unlike San Francisco(very windy, cold). You know..hot and cold. You get it! Sigh. I want to feel better already. I called in last week for two days at work because I was out of town and today I called in again because I’m sick. Anyway, here are some pictures from the trip.

08.10.09 - Choosing the Right One

When my family and I moved here to USA in 2007, we had to take care of a lot of things like housing, school, telephone line, and cable/satellite for our TV. We took care of everything except one last thing which is the cable/satellite for our television. We decided to get satellite so we asked our new friends which satellite company offers a reliable and affordable service. And the result was Direct TV. So, we went ahead and checked out their website and it turns out that they are always offering freebies!

Directv is awesome! They have different packages starting from $29.99. It has a wide selection of HD channels and movie channels. Also, they have international channels! I’m a Filipino so that’s great because we get to have The Filipino Channel which is the BEST part. They also have these special offers that you really have to check before subscribing to their service. They also offer recorders so you can just record shows that you miss even if the TV is turned off and then watch it later. Cool right?

They have  1-800 on their website and you can also email them. I know they have stores nationwide too so we didn’t have a hard time looking for a one here in California. Also, I’m sure even if we move to the east coast we’ll find a Direct TV in NY. It will be easy to move around the country and being able to continue subscribing to Direct TV’s service!
